I started last week following The Happy House's New Year Challenge, our goal last week was to tackle the bedroom and closet:
Closet & Drawer Systems
-Empty
-Clean Shelves & Drawers with all purpose cleaner
-Sort Clothing- discard any unwanted items, my target number is 10-15
-Put clothing back
Bed
-Remove all bedding and launder
-Remove everything under the bed- sort, giveaway pile, organize
-Slide bed over and vacuum underneath
-Dust & clean fan and or light fixture
-Dust entire bed frame
-Move bed back
-Replace under bed items
-Room- Clean from top to bottom (dust falls...)
-Nightstands & Shelves- dust, organize, purge- keep them simple- treat yourself with a vase of fresh flowers!
-Clean windows- including sills, frame, edges, etc.
-Vacuum
This week we are tackling the bathrooms
Shower/Tub
-Remove all products
-Scrub the tub
-Organize and replace products
-Use a daily shower cleaner to keep up on grime
Sink/Vanity
-Remove everything from the counter tops, drawers and cupboards
-Clean with an all purpose cleaner- including the counter, insides of drawers and cupboards
-Organize all the goodies you removed- toss at least 3 items
-Put all the items back
Toilet
-Use toilet cleaner for the bowl (A great green cleaner that deodorizes as well is to just pour 2 cups of vinegar in the bowl, let sit for a couple hours or overnight, scrub with a brush and flush)
-Use an all purpose cleaner for the exterior, don't forget the top and handle
I will post pictures as soon as I can.

Ooooh, I love lists! What kind of shower cleaner do you use for the in-betweens? I have the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic one, but the refills are like $5 each, and they only last a max of 2 weeks. I bought the thing when I was in college & had to share my bathroom, but now I'm wondering if it might be better to buy a spray & just spray the shower each day. Good luck with the rest of your list & I can't wait for pictures!
